Who is Bob42jh?
First of all, I want to introduce this cool man, Bob45jh. With nearly two million upload views and over five thousand subscribers on Youtube. Bob42jh also known as Rob is becoming a popular source for underground hip-hop music. Bob's music selections are obscure yet adhere to the highest standards. There is an emphasis on new music and ambient instrumentals with positive, skillful emcees appearing on tracks. His channel has big influences on the underground artists and help their movement grow.
I always find many treasures on his channel, because this is a wonderful source for rare music. I'm very impressed the songs he finds and decides to post. I am curious what is the criteria he use to select as well. Recently, I saw he talking about how he chose music. He said "I have an office desk job which is boring so I spend most my day listening to music.I think it’s this that has made my channel popular." But his final goal is hoping everyone could enjoy great music. I think he is so real and such a good man! He always said he just want to say thanks to all the people who send him messages to thank him for introducing them to new artists - that’s all he wants to do. The amount of appreciation people show him is overwhelming! It keeps this guy doing what he does!
With the holidays just around the corner, we’re very stoked that Bob42jh reached out to us with the suggestion to release another compilation through TheFindMag.com. That was a no-brainer of course, so Christmas came early with the release of his brand new compilation ‘Films About Ghosts’.
Enjoy this collection of tracks and as always, all praise goes to the artists involved. If you like a track, check the artist for more music and support where possible.
Bob42jh: “A lot has happened this year. Personally, musically, but most of all around the world. This year has flown by. So at a time many of you guys prepare to visit friends and family, I hope this compilation can accompany your journey. So from me to you all, I wish you a Merry Christmas, happy holidays and a blessed and safe new year.”
Bob42jh's perspective toward the memories in the end of your article is very unique and interesting. Since the music is gentle and lighthearted, I cannot find the so-called "ghost" feeling in the melody.
ReplyDeleteOr perhaps the concept is already transferred into a different degree?
As usual, I enjoy the music you provide!:)
I enjoy this music sooooo much! :D
ReplyDeleteThe tempo really attracts me!
I wasn't dare to click "play" at the first sight because of the word "ghost"!!! lol

ReplyDeleteI think the song "Folklore" is very much like a Chinese concert. Many Chinese instruments are used to express the emotion in this song. The first song "Sunday chilling" probably might be like dancing ballad. Very interesting!! :D
