George Evelyn, who is the DJ in the U.S, also known as Nightmares on Wax or DJ EASE (Experimental Sample Expert). His music is combination of jazz-hip hop beats and electronic sounds. It's often regarded as "Chill out" style.
In 2002, Evelyn released his fourth LP under Warp Records, Mind Elevation. He continued to evolve his new label and build a network of artists.
Four years later in March 2006, NoW released their fifth LP, In a Space Outta Sound again on Warp Records. When addressed about the amount of time between the records, Evelyn expressed his distaste for schedules, joking that they made him break out in a rash. To keep in the spirit of network's mantra, Evelyn explains that NoW is very focused on allowing things to happen and not forcing albums into production.
In 2008, NoW released their final LP under Warp titled thought so.... In 2009, Coming Home was released, this time under WAX ON Records.
He's also good at creating a deep atmosphere, with soothing rhythm, stylish electric sound and ethereal female vocal. You can feel the construction with endless depths. Hope you like it!

What kind of situations make you in deep contemplation?
For me, I always close my eyes and consider something thoroughly when I listen to Uyama Hiroto's albums.I can't describe the feeling clearly as I listened to Stratus(the first song of my music player in this post). As same as the song title, you'll float in the sky, even see the clouds and stars. Just like in a dreamland, makes me feel smooth and amazing. Through the song, I could keep being a seeker in my life and make my own legend. So please let me introduce this incredible artist.
Uyama Hiroto (宇山寬人) is a Japanese hip-hop producer. He is the collaborator of the most famous Japanese DJ, Nujabes. His music style is downtempo, ambient jazz and also influenced by hip-hop.
In 2008, Uyama Hiroto finally published his first individual album, A Son Of The Sun. This album includes piano, trumpet, guitar and other musical instruments. With these instruments, beautiful Jazz Hip-Hop and Downtempo music would constantly hover around your ear.
He uses Japanese summer as a concept in the first song 81summer, this one present the wonderful summer feeling for us. He also creates a new song to dedicate his lovely son, who just a newborn baby last year. You can see how he expressed his fatherhood in the song Color Of the Jade. Enjoy it!

Have you ever dreamed of a place, far away from it all?
Where the air you breathe is soft and clean, and children play in fields of green
And the sound of guns doesn’t pound in your ears.
An up-and-coming producer out of Detroit, Apollo Brown has been busy as of late, dropping a slew of impressive projects, both with MCs (Gas Mask and Brown Study) and without (Make Do). On Clouds, he goes the instrumental route again, concocting 27 short but sweet, rap-free joints composed mostly of super-chill, low-BPM loops, heavy on the chimes, breezy guitars, and slow but funky elastic bass grooves.
With a mellow sound clearly influenced by J Dilla, Oddisee, 9th Wonder, and early DJ Shadow (especially apparent on "Human Existence"), this is mood music ideally suited for headphones and personal contemplation. Most of the tracks here blend together easily, and while others are definitive head-nodders despite their languid pace. The synth-infused "Drinking Life," Pharcyde-sampling "Shoot the Heart," and Lonnie Liston Smith-inspired "Bridge Through Time" are standouts.
Enjoy it!

Dusty Fingers is the name of a series of compilation records of songs that are widely admired as breakbeats collected by Bronx DJ Danny Dann the Beat Mann. Some of the songs featured contain "open breaks" which are solo drum passages which enable DJs to easily transition into them. These are also attractive to producers, who loop or rearrange them to create new compositions.
Following in the tradition of the Ultimate Breaks and Beats series, the Dusty Fingers records contain an eclectic range of musical styles: mainly funk and jazz, but also including soul, rock, disco, and pop. Many of the songs in the Dusty Fingers series have been sampled into new musical compositions, mainly by hip hop producers. Popular songs sampling Dusty Fingers compositions include "Guilty Conscience" by Eminem, "Find Your Wealth" by Nas, "Rowdy Rowdy" by 50 Cent, "Show Me What You Got" by Jay Z, "Daydreamin'" by Lupe Fiasco, and "Dr. Carter" by Lil' Wayne. 888

Nujabes, my most favorite Jazzy hip-hop producer, who led me to this incredible music world. He enlightened me to explore different music genres and discover the meaning of life through the music. When I was 17 years old, I listened to his song and totally fallen in love with his masterpiece. Although he died two years later, his music still influence me until now .
Jun Seba (瀬場潤 Seba Jun?, February 7, 1974 – February 26, 2010) was a Japanese hip hop producer and DJ who recorded under the name Nujabes (ヌジャベス Nujabesu?), the reverse spelling of his name in Japanese order. Nujabes was also owner of the Shibuya record stores, T Records and Guinness Records and founder of the independent label Hydeout Productions. He died in a car accident on February 26, 2010.
Spiritual State is the third studio album by Nujabes, released posthumously as a follow-up to Modal Soul in 2005. The album was incomplete upon Nujabes' death in February 2010, inspiring those close to him to see it finished. Spiritual State was released in Japan on December 3, 2011 and February 2012 in the United States. Although the album has contributing vocals from several artists, it is roughly classified as an instrumental hip hop album.
REST IN PEACE, NUJABES.

Malia is a singer who from Malawi which is a landlocked country in southeast Africa that was formerly known as Nyasaland. Her mother is from Malawi and her father is from the United Kingdom. She moved to London when she was a teenager. A budding singer, she heard a French song by Liane Foly while in New York and made contact with the French producer of the song, André Manoukian. She is up to now working with him.
British jazz vocalist Malia was born into a family of mixed African and English heritage in the small East African country of Malawi, which borders Mozambique, Tanzania, and Zambia. Growing up with only the two local radio stations (one in the native tongue, the other in English) and her father's Beatles-heavy record collection, Malia was not exposed to a large variety of music. I believe you can feel the huge emotions through her soulful vocal, and enjoy this precious Black Orchid.

Don't know what to do in the cold raining day? Maybe you can watch TV, play games or even sleep all day long. But I have a better idea, how about having a cup of coffee with some relax jazz music? Just click the play button and enjoy the incredible world which DJ Cam creates !!
Look at this album cover, a golden sky with shadow of the hill. This could symbolize the style of DJ Cam's works. DJ Cam (born Laurent Daumail in 1973) is a French DJ. His tunes are almost entirely a hybrid of both hip-hop and jazz music, and is presented in an abstract manner.
I believe you can heard these two kinds of music combine together in harmony way.
His first LP was Underground Vibes in 1994, and was revolutionary for its time, featuring familiar jazz samples and heavy hip-hop influences. His second studio album was Substances, which carried on with the tradition of its predecessor. He released The Beat Assassinated in 1998, which contained cameos from underground rappers, and also released The Loa Project vol.2
In 2003, he departed his regular sound for the Soulshine LP, which featured an appearance by Gang Starr's Guru (Credited as Baldhead Slick). He went back to his hip-hop roots in 2004 with Liquid Hip-Hop, in 2006, he released an iTunes exclusive Best Of compilation, featuring a new song at the end.
DJ Cam has recreated many classic masterpieces, such as Bobby Hutcherson's "Montara", Roy Ayers's "Everybody Loves The Sunshine", andDonald Bird's "Think Twice" ans so on. I really recommend this album to those who wants to have a beautiful time.

Let me give you little sunshine in the cold winter day.
Look at this lovely girl in the cover.I would say this is also totally a lovely jazzy album!!
I wanna I talk about the background of the album and some brief info about the artist - Kenichiro Nishihara
Kenichiro Nishihara (西原健一郎) is a Japanese manufacturer of jazz and hip-hop music.
In this time, he made a concept album(concept albums tend to incorporate preconceived musical or lyrical ideas rather than being improvised or composed in the studio, with all songs contributing to a single overall theme or unified story.) for a worldwide known chocolate brand. This is a program which named"Sweet Swing for HERSHEY’S". As same as the name, we could feel the warm and sweet feeling which the whole songs gave us.
This album contains many soulful vocals, some of female vocals even came from Sweden and Spain, such as SHANTI, Maia Hirasawa, HanaH, day エ ミ, and Tamala. The songs are featuring some famous songs, like Bill Evans ''Waltz For Debby'', and Nat King Cole "LOVE" which are remix again and turn these into more soulful and jazzy style.
The 7th song, "Cheek to Cheek" is very familiar to me. I always could sing the lyric "Heaven, I'm in heaven, and my heart beats so that I can hardly speak..." even I was a little girl.
After the Outro song "Sweet Swing", we still have final bonus track which in order to memorize the legend person in Jazz field, Charlie Parker. I believe if you listened this album, you would have happy mood in every time.

My friend sent her single song to me on the Youtube .When I first played her songs, I just press play button again and again. I'm wondering why Youtube doesn't have replay buttom.
Anyway, I have a strong willing to share this incredible girl to you. When this album was released in 2010, she's only 22 years old. I'm impressed! Look at me, I'm nearly 22, but do not have any achievement yet.
Mara Hruby from Oakland, CA.She arrived on the scene at the start of 2010, playing shows throughout the Bay Area, and is releasing her debut EP, From Her Eyes. Mara has worked on this album for the past nine months; she has applied her multi-talented dedication to recording, arranging, and engineering her own work. She has performed on stage, dancing and backing other artists in the Bay Area; unconsciously preparing herself for this path. She has chosen to speak through music in order to connect with those of us who love music.
During an interview with a local entertainment magazine, Mara was asked to describe her sound: “My sound comes from what I have experienced in life. I feel my sound is organic, distinct, melodic, eclectic, and filled with sensitivity. To say the least, I’d call my music a melodic melting pot.”
The current practice of recording “covers” of well known music by well loved artists, has led to some very creatively unique results. The surprise breakthrough of Les Nubians’ version of Sade's mellow and soulful ballad, "The Sweetest Taboo," helped their American debut album, Princesses Nubiennes, to achieve a higher position on the Billboard charts than any other French-language album had in the previous decade.
These seven tracks represent the genesis of the view “From Mara’s Eyes” of the various works of her favorite male artists. Each song is connected to a memory experience in Mara’s young life. The beauty and elegance of Van Hunt’s “Character,” Bob Marley’s love of Jah, Mos Def’s soulful poetry, André “3000” Benjamin’s “Take Off Your Cool,” as well as D’Angelo’s “Send It On” – are all examples of art forms from today’s exceptional musicians.
Mara Hruby is a mesmerizing artist who performs on stage with poise and grace. You will be surprised to discover how naturally her music will enter your heart.

"He is the poet of Romantic Period in MUSIC world."
I think he is good at catching natural materiel in our environment, such as cock crowing, wind blowing, and children laughing etc... You would feel a little bit chill but not cold through his music and this is also one of the reason that I want to share his music. When I first listened to his song, I feel really curious about him. Because I was expecting I could listen some beats at first. But the beginning sound was birds singing!
Michita(満ちた ) which means filled, just like his music. So many beautiful melody and emotions. Michita was born, raised, and still lives in Hokkaido(is Japan's second largest island, it is also the largest and northernmost of Japan's 47 prefectural-level subdivisions) and started DJing in 1988, getting his experience at Club Ghetto, Precious Hall and Nome, whilst performing together with numerous artists. He released a number of mix CDs under the alias "Gipsy MZK Tripps", and in 1995 formed A.I.N.P in his hometown with JFK (Mic Jack Production). After meeting with B.I.G JOE and DJ DOGG, he started full-blown work on track making in 2006. He first really became well known in the underground scene across Japan in 2007, featuring on the Libyus Music label compilation album Listening is Believing vol.
Michita became well-known in the underground scene in Japan in 2007 when he featured on Libyus Music’s compilation album Listening is Believing vol. 2. Shortly after his two debut releases, ONE and TWO, Michita was already considered one of the best track makers in Japan. Michita’s tracks are for the most part beautiful and relaxed, often a little sad even, but he has also made harder beats for rappers.
If you like Nujabes, DJ Okawari, and Uyama Hiroto, you must love Michita!!

Who is Bob42jh?
First of all, I want to introduce this cool man, Bob45jh. With nearly two million upload views and over five thousand subscribers on Youtube. Bob42jh also known as Rob is becoming a popular source for underground hip-hop music. Bob's music selections are obscure yet adhere to the highest standards. There is an emphasis on new music and ambient instrumentals with positive, skillful emcees appearing on tracks. His channel has big influences on the underground artists and help their movement grow.
I always find many treasures on his channel, because this is a wonderful source for rare music. I'm very impressed the songs he finds and decides to post. I am curious what is the criteria he use to select as well. Recently, I saw he talking about how he chose music. He said "I have an office desk job which is boring so I spend most my day listening to music.I think it’s this that has made my channel popular." But his final goal is hoping everyone could enjoy great music. I think he is so real and such a good man! He always said he just want to say thanks to all the people who send him messages to thank him for introducing them to new artists - that’s all he wants to do. The amount of appreciation people show him is overwhelming! It keeps this guy doing what he does!
With the holidays just around the corner, we’re very stoked that Bob42jh reached out to us with the suggestion to release another compilation through TheFindMag.com. That was a no-brainer of course, so Christmas came early with the release of his brand new compilation ‘Films About Ghosts’.
Enjoy this collection of tracks and as always, all praise goes to the artists involved. If you like a track, check the artist for more music and support where possible.
Bob42jh: “A lot has happened this year. Personally, musically, but most of all around the world. This year has flown by. So at a time many of you guys prepare to visit friends and family, I hope this compilation can accompany your journey. So from me to you all, I wish you a Merry Christmas, happy holidays and a blessed and safe new year.”
“If dreams are like movies, then memories are films about ghosts…”
